A taster day designed as an introduction to mentorship for the registered dental care professional (DCP) takes place next month.
Dental hygienist Tim Ives and dental nurse Fiona Ellwood will guide DCPs through the steps towards a role in team training and development and is an ideal stepping-stone for those who considering teaching or mentoring as a career.
Tim Ives is a registered dental hygienist, qualified teacher and trained mentor.
He currently mentors newly graduated hygienist therapists in the Philips Transitional Support Programme.
Fiona Ellwood is a registered dental nurse, qualified teacher and trained mentor.
She is the BADN East Midlands Regional Coordinator, an FGDP (UK) Key Skills Assessor and part of the FGDP (UK) development team.
